To that end, it concludes representation agreements with the corresponding Collective Intellectual Property Management Organisations abroad (contracts with 125 homologue organisations in 191 territories) and collaborates with them in order to secure the rights of its members on an international level.

Foreign creators' rights in Greece:
Apart from its Greek intellectual property owner-creator members, AEPI represents the international repertoire through Collective Management Organisations abroad. In this way, intellectual property fees of creators-intellectual property owners in countries other than Greece are sent to their corresponding companies.

In order for the materialization and correct application of reciprocal representation agreements, during the whole year AEPI is communicating with the correspondent organizations abroad for declarations as far as use of repertoire that represents in public appearances, concerts, selling material carriers of sound or sound and image, projecting of audio-visual works etc. are concerned. The amount of royalties that AEPI collects on behalf of its members has been collected by the local organization under the conditions which are applied in every country. These conditions concern on one hand the local legislation on Copyright, the internal law of each organization on collection, distribution and allocation of royalties and on the other hand, certain factors which are related with the political-financial situation of the country. Further, the department is charged with exchanging of all information between AEPI and foreign companies .
